We Were Featured in the Letaba Herald!
We’re proud to share that the Ditoro Outreach Program was recently featured in the Letaba Herald in a story that captured a powerful moment from our latest Greater Kruger immersion trip. The article, "Kruger trip gives students hands-on field guide skills," highlights the real heart of our work — giving young people from local communities a chance to build a future in conservation through experiential learning.

This field trip was more than just a visit to the park — it was a step into a new way of seeing the natural world. Guided by the Koru Camp team, and supported by our passionate team, participants practiced essential field guide techniques, deepened their ecological knowledge, and began building the confidence they need to thrive in conservation careers.
For us, every track we follow and every bird we identify is part of a much bigger journey — one where our students become stewards of our natural heritage and ambassadors for their communities.
We believe in empowering employability and creating meaningful change, and this feature is a beautiful reminder of the impact that’s possible when young people are given the tools to succeed.
Thank you to Letaba Herald for helping us tell our story — and to everyone walking this path with us.
